What is Tingg?
Tingg is a simple & secure digital commerce platform that connects you, your business and communities to financial services anytime and anywhere across Africa. Available on the mobile app, USSD, web or from a Tingg banking agent, access improved payment services on Tingg from lending, paying bills, investing, getting paid, sending and receiving money or easily shopping online. Whether in the city, online or in the village, connect to Tingg for easy, quick and safe payments and financial services.
How Tingg Works
The Tingg Pay service is available to smart and feature phone users as a
mobile application and a USSD service.
Currently available on Google Play, on USSD and soon on IOS, Tingg
uses SMS permissions to help you find and discover the bills that you have paid
for before. To achieve this, we scan your inbox for our listed merchants then
give you suggestions of frequently paid bills from which you then get the
opportunity to save them on Tingg for an easier payment process immediately or
in future.
Tingg then uses this information to schedule, organize and prioritize
your bills appropriately so that you get free SMS and app notification
reminders to pay for your bills on time using any of our payment methods –
virtual wallets, mobile banking, credit/debit card and mobile money – all within
one app. With this permission, Tingg is able to become your personal bills
manager.
Feature phone users can access the same services by dialling the short code service for the service in your country
Tingg’s no stress bill payment and reminder service gives consumers more
freedom, control and choice in how, where and when you pay your bills.

One payments app across Africa
Digital payments powered by mobile money have taken off in Africa at a
pace higher than any other continent. The recent developments in Nigeria
will further accelerate the move towards a cashless economy. One of the
biggest challenges in the payments space especially for consumers is the sheer
number of apps or USSD codes they have to keep in mind for every service they
are paying for using mobile payments not just within the same country but
across the continent.
You can now use one mobile app across Africa to pay your bills, top-up your airtime, or even book your KQ flight. Download the Tingg for Android app today and discover the easiest way to pay your bills and buy airtime across different mobile networks.
