Commenting on the partnership, Cellulant Kenya’s Managing Director Felix Nthigah noted “We continue to partner with the ICT authority to innovate and foster adoption of digital payments. Cellulant is happy to be part of the history of the ICT Authority in going cashless as they mark their 10th year anniversary. There is much more that can do to innovate around the way consumers and businesses alike receive and make payments.” “We have an initiative called the white box. The white box is a reception for innovation from innovators and businesses to bring their innovation/products/ideas to government to evaluate then the ICT offcers from the different state departments will give feedback and see if it is something that can be grown to make the government even more efficient.” Cabinet Secretary ICT, Joe Mucheru.
